Hexham
to Dene House
Take the B6306 from the centre of Hexham (opposite
the Shire Gate Restaurant) - signposted Blanchland and the Racecourse.
After 400 yards take the obvious right fork up the hill signposted
Dipton Mill Road..
After another 400 yards take the first turn on your left - signposted
Ordley, Dye House and Whitley Chapel.
Follow this road for 3.5 miles and you will come to the hamlet
of Juniper.
Travel down the hill for approximately 200 yards and you will
find Dene House on the right hand side of the road. Look for
the Bed and Breakfast sign. |

Just past the Derwent Reservoir turn left - signposted Slaley.
At the end of the village turn right onto the B 6306.
After approximately 1 mile turn left, just past the Travellers
Rest Pub - signposted Whitley Chapel.
Follow this road for just over 1 mile then take the first
turn right - signposted Hexham.
Continue along this winding road for half a mile and after
the Juniper sign follow the road up the hill for 300
yards and you will find Dene House on the left hand
side of the road, just past Dene Bungalow.
